JMUN (Junior Model United Nations) is a dynamic academic simulation where students step into the role of global decision-makers. Being part of this year’s organizing team is a great honor for me. Addressing this important theme together with you makes this experience even more meaningful. The theme of our conference, “Technology Dependence: Connected or Controlled?”, raises one of the most critical questions of our time. While technology makes our lives easier, we must reassess how it influences the decision-making processes, our ways of thinking, and even our social structures. As delegates, you will analyze both the opportunities technology offers and the risks it brings. You will seek ways to develop balanced and sustainable policies on both local and global levels. I strongly believe that with your analytical thinking, research skills, and a diplomatic approach, you will shape the direction of this conference.
